Mr Lee Cheon Woo, from South Korea, and his sister Ri Mun Woo, from North Korea, bidding farewell yesterday after an emotional three-day family reunion at the Mount Kumgang resort on the North's south-eastern coast.

The mass event, which involved some 400 South Koreans and 140 North Koreans, marked the first time the family members - divided by the 1950-53 war between the two Koreas - were able to meet each other in more than 60 years. For many of the aged participants, it is also likely to be the last time they will ever see each other.
