Fiery battle at sea in Hong Kong


Smoke billowing yesterday as firefighters on boats (centre and right) try to extinguish a fire which swept through several boats anchored at the Shau Kei Wan typhoon shelter in Hong Kong. Explosions were heard as firefighting crews rushed to put out the blaze, according to local media. At least five people suffered minor injuries from the fire, which razed at least nine boats. The cause of the fire was not known at press time.
