Cartoon portraits of past and present Chinese leaders were on display at the 10th China International Cartoon and Animation Festival in Hangzhou this week.

President Xi Jinping's cartoon character was drawn holding a bird cage with an official seal, representing his anti-corruption efforts since taking office, CCTV.com reported.

Former president Hu Jintao was portrayed playing table tennis, a game he played on several overseas diplomatic visits.

Late Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping was seen holding one black cat and one white cat, alluding to his famous quote "It doesn't matter whether the cat is black or white, as long as it catches mice."

Also featured were cartoon figures of former president Jiang Zemin, former premier Wen Jiabao and late leader Mao Zedong.
