BUSAN, South Korea – Chinese President Xi Jinping told US President Donald Trump that trade negotiators from the world’s two largest economies had reached a basic consensus on a deal, as the two leaders sat down for talks in the South Korean city of Busan.
Mr Xi also said that China’s development did not contradict Mr Trump’s vision of “Making America Great Again”, China’s state news agency Xinhua reported. REUTERS
