BEIJING (REUTERS) - China's Foreign Ministry on Friday (Oct 27) called on the United States not to allow Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen to transit through its territories.

Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang made the comment at a daily news briefing in Beijing, adding that China had made stern representations to the US over the matter.

Taiwan said on Friday Ms Tsai would travel to three Pacific island allies next week, transiting through Hawaii and Guam.
