Anti-government protests, laced with anti-China sentiments, may have ratcheted up and moved to universities in what appears to be the new battleground, but mainland Chinese graduate student Yu Xin is adamant on finishing her one-year course in Hong Kong.
"I will leave Hong Kong only after I get my master's, and go back and work in the mainland," the Sichuan native told The Straits Times on Tuesday morning (Nov 12), when riot police were firing tear gas near City University's Kowloon Tong campus after some protesters blocked the roads.
