1 Probe into cause of crash

The Taiwanese authorities were yesterday combing through the wreckage of a passenger train that crashed in north-eastern Taiwan on Sunday to determine what caused it to derail, claiming the lives of 18 people on board. The crash was the island's worst such accident in nearly 30 years.
