A Hong Kong court yesterday jailed four leaders of the 2014 pro-democracy protests, amid heightened concerns over the decline of freedoms in the China-ruled city. 

An integrated train testing centre, to put new trains and rail systems through their paces without the risk of disrupting services, will be built on a 50ha site at the former Raffles Country Club in Tuas. The centre will be ready around 2022.
