Bomb kills 14 at Pakistan election rally: Official

PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AFP) - Fourteen people were killed when a bomb tore through a Pakistan election rally in the north-western tribal belt on Monday, an official said.

More than 50 others were wounded in the attack and the death toll could rise further, administrative official Riaz Khan told AFP.

The bomb targeted the right-wing Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), a religious party in the outgoing government coalition that has mediated with the Taleban.
