Vocal anti-vax push in Australia fails as Covid-19 vaccination rates surge

SYDNEY - In a recent interview with an American far-right broadcaster, Australian MP George Christensen called on people around the world to protest outside Australia's embassies to demand an end to the country's Covid-19 restrictions.

The interview, with controversial American radio host Alex Jones, was particularly unusual because Mr Christensen is a member of the ruling coalition and was calling on people to rise up against his own government.
