Rockhampton (Australia) - The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) has sent about 230 servicemen from the army, 280 from the navy and around 250 from the air force to take part in Exercise Trident, now underway in the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) in Australia.

Exercise Trident is part of Exercise Wallaby, an annual training exercise conducted by the SAF in SWBTA. This year's Exercise Wallaby is now in its 24th year since its inception.

Yesterday's ship-to-shore movement was only a preview and today marks the first day of the exercise and also the first time the SAF and Australian Defence Force are executing this manoeuvre together.
