An image of an indigenous Australian man projected onto the sails of the Sydney Opera House during the opening of the annual Vivid Sydney light festival last night. The Opera House will transform over the festival's 23 nights into an animated canvas of Australian indigenous art, featuring contemporary works from Karla Dickens, Djon Mundine, Gabriella Possum Nungurrayi, Reko Rennie, Donny Woolagoodja and the late Gulumbu Yunupingu.
