SYDNEY - Inside a former rail workshop in Sydney, a sleek cocktail bar serves an impressive array of designer drinks and suitably creative menu items such as sausage rolls with truffle mustard.

But this bar, simply called "Re", is not quite as it seems. Though its smart interiors and menu are well suited to the former industrial space, the venue - including the furnishings and the food - aims to be entirely waste-free.
