China-Australia spat threatens bilateral trade

Beijing said to have 'frozen' visas and invitations for Australian politicians

At China's recent Boao Forum for Asia conference, a range of global and political leaders were in attendance but there was a noticeable absence: Australian politicians.

This absence has been credited to a "freeze" by China, which has reportedly been stalling visas for Australian politicians or failing to invite them for visits.
