SYDNEY - In a speech that was quickly dubbed "the reset", Australia's Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has tried to unfreeze the nation's increasingly frosty relations with China.

Speaking in the presence of both the Chinese Ambassador and the Consul-General in Sydney, Mr Turnbull pledged to pursue a relationship with China "based on mutual respect and understanding".
