SYDNEY - The recent Australian census results confirm what a stroll through the centre of any of the country's major cities reveals: that Australia has shifted from its historic Anglo roots to a multicultural nation of immigrants.
But these changing demographics are not always apparent in the institutions that make up the centres of Australian power and decision-making.
