Residents of Australia's flood-hit north-east returned home yesterday to begin a massive cleanup after almost two weeks of heavy rain as the wild weather moved south to inundate more towns. Communities remained cut off and thousands were without power in the state of Queensland after some areas received a year's worth of rainfall in just a week.
US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un are set to meet in Vietnam from Feb 27 to 28, the American leader told Congress in his second State of the Union address. Mr Trump's speech was frequently interrupted by applause and chants of "USA!" as he stressed his achievements, including a vigorous economy and record employment.
