Indonesia to have new map on land use

JAKARTA • Indonesia will take a step to resolve conflicting land use claims with a map that reflects geographical features in greater detail. The map, to be completed this year, will reduce clashes between permits for plantations, mining and forest conservation.

Masagos' three-day working visit to Brunei

Environment and Water Resources Minister Masagos Zulkifli attended a convention launched by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah on Monday, during a three-day visit to Brunei that ended yesterday.

Mr Masagos met his counterpart, Minister of Development Bahrin Abdullah, Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said yesterday.
