Missing tourist found alive after five years

SYDNEY • An American who vanished while in northern Australia five years ago, with his kayak found submerged near a beach, has been found alive by police investigating a burglary.

Tourist Kenneth Rodman was last seen by a friend in 2010 near Port Douglas, 60km north of Cairns.

New Ebola case in Liberia after all-clear

MONROVIA • Liberia announced the return of the deadly Ebola virus yesterday, more than six weeks after the country was declared to have eradicated the disease. "A new case of Ebola has been reported in Margibi County. The person has died and was confirmed positive before death. He has been buried," said Deputy Health Minister Tolbert Nyensuah.
