Live Facebook chat with Lam Pin Min

Minister of State for Health Lam Pin Min will host a live Facebook chat with the public today to discuss how Singapore's children and young people can have better health.

Dr Lam's chat will cover key health concerns among the young, including physical activity, nutrition, mental well-being and myopia.

Those interested in taking part in the chat can go to the Reach Singapore Facebook page from 7.30pm to 9pm today.


ESM Goh attends conference in Tokyo

Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong will today start a three-day visit to Tokyo to attend the 22nd International Conference on The Future of Asia, "Rising to Global Challenges and Realising Asia's Potential", organised by Nikkei. He will deliver the keynote speech at the conference. He will also meet Japanese political and business leaders, according to Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


Last day for reporting full-year results

Today is the last day for Singapore-listed companies with their financial year ending March 31 to report their results.

Firms have up to 60 days to disclose their full-year results. Those rushing to meet the deadline are usually small businesses or loss makers. Major companies such as Singapore Airlines and Singtel presented their financial statements earlier this month.
