Protesters took to the streets of New York City and elsewhere in the world, for a second Women's March on Saturday, one year after President Donald Trump's inauguration. Carrying anti-Trump placards with messages such as "Fight like a girl" and "Elect a clown, expect a circus", demonstrators marched across the United States, as well as in cities around the world including Beijing, Buenos Aires, Sydney and Rome, opposing Mr Trump and his policies. In New York City alone, police estimated a turnout of 200,000.
