US sends five Guantanamo prisoners to Oman, Estonia

WASHINGTON (AFP) - The United States has transferred five inmates from its naval base prison at Guantanamo Bay, sending four to Oman and one to Estonia, the Pentagon said on Wednesday.

All of the men were "unanimously approved for transfer," following a review by several US agencies, the Pentagon said in a statement, adding that 122 prisoners remain at Guantanamo.
