Street artist mocks Trump's proposed wall on US-Mexican border

A Los Angeles artist builds a miniature border wall around Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A miniature wall has been erected around the perimeter of US Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The 6-inch high, concrete wall features barbed wire running across the top, as well as "keep out" signs written in English and Spanish.

Street artist Plastic Jesus has taken credit for constructing the wall, a mock replica of the one that Mr Trump promised to build along the US-Mexican border early in his campaign run.

Mr Trump's pledge to build the wall has been a much-touted highlight of a platform targeting illegal immigration in the United States that helped make him the Republican nominee for the November 8 election.
