SINGAPORE - Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen will be visiting Washington DC from Sunday (April 2) to Wednesday to meet with United States officials and members of the US Congress, including Defence Secretary James Mattis.

A statement released by the Defence Ministry on Saturday said Dr Ng will meet with the US officials to exchange views on geopolitical developments and reaffirm the strong and long-standing bilateral relationship between the two countries.

While there, Dr Ng will also meet with strategic thinkers and academics, the statement said.
