New body camera video shows others' views of Cincinnati shooting

(REUTERS)- Video from two officers' body cameras show different angles of the scene where former University of Cincinnati police officer Ray Tensing shot and killed Mr Samuel Dubose, an unarmed black driver during a traffic stop on July 19 this year.

One clip from another officer's body camera shows, for a split second, Mr Tensing running with another officer towards Mr Dubose's car.  At this point, Mr Dubose had already been shot and his car was rolling down the street.

Mr Tensing told authorities he was dragged by Mr Dubose's car. But after examining the evidence, Mr Tensing was indicted on Wednesday (July 29) for murder and his bail was set at one million dollars. He pleaded not guilty.

Video shot by a different officer's body camera picked up an exchange as Mr Tensing tried to explain what had happened. "It was dragging me man," he said. "I'm good. I just got my hand and my arm caught in the car."

Mr Tensing's attorney says his client feared for his life and did not intend to kill Mr Dubose.
