US Special Counsel Robert Mueller has submitted his report, almost two years in the making, on Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election.

The Attorney-General is set to brief congressional leaders on the key findings over the weekend. But already some Republicans are declaring that President Donald Trump has been exonerated from suspicions that he colluded with Russia to get elected.
