Lawyer from Making A Murderer writing book on legal system

WISCONSIN - Fans of Netflix sensation Making A Murderer will have something to keep them occupied while they await a second season.

On Monday (March 7), one of Stephen Avery's defence lawyers during his infamous trial, Jerry Buting, announced that he is working on a book about the case and his career.

Bating will not be the first person to get the word out by writing a book on the trial.

Ken Kratz, former Calumet County, Wisconsin district attorney and prosecutor of Avery in the 2005 murder of Teresa Halbach, is also working on his own book sharing his opinion of what happened with the Avery trial.
