(REUTERS) - Jennifer Lawrence stars in the title role of 'Joy', as a woman forging a happy life despite everyday obstacles.
Speaking at a special screening of the movie in London on Thursday (December 17) she told Reuters how she relates to her role: ''I can definitely relate to the journey of having a dream and being the only one that believes in yourself and being told 'no' a lot, but having that faith that kind of comes out of nowhere and then I also understand the side of success that's very beautiful and exciting but also very ugly.''
Lawrence is reunited once again with director David O. Russell and actor Bradley Cooper in 'Joy'.
The trio have previously worked together on 'American Hustle' and 'Silver Linings Playbook'. Russell is hopeful his new film will inspire audiences and leave them wanting to see the movie again. 'Joy' is out in the US on Dec 25, 2015 and in the UK on Jan 1, 2016.
