FERGUSON (REUTERS) - Two men were arrested on suspicion of buying explosives which they planned to detonate during protests in Ferguson, Missouri, once a grand jury decides on whether to indict a white police officer for fatally shooting a black teenager.
The men were charged with federal firearms offences, a law enforcement official told Reuters.
Word of the arrests, reported by a number of media outlets on Friday, came ahead of the grand jury's decision on whether police officer Darren Wilson, who fatally shot 18-year-old Michael Brown on Aug 9, should be indicted on criminal charges.
