UN report on North Korea documents 'brutal reality' of rights abuses: US

WASHINGTON (AFP) - The United States said on Monday that a United Nations report "clearly and unequivocally documents the brutal reality" of North Korea's human rights abuses.

State Department's deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf said Washington strongly welcomes and supports the report and urged Pyongyang to take "concrete steps" to improve the situation.
