VIENNA (Reuters) - Two people were shot near Vienna airport on Monday, the Austria Press Agency reported.

It said the attackers fled in a dark limousine heading away from the Austrian capital, but did not specify the condition of the victims or give any further details.

Police could not immediately confirm the report, and said they would issue a statement shortly.
