Two dead, more than 100 reported hurt in Boston blasts

BOSTON, Massachusetts (AFP) - The twin explosions near the finish line of the Boston Marathon Monday killed two people and wounded more than 100, officials and media outlets said.

Boston police said two people died, and according to NBC News, those fatalities include an eight-year-old child.

The Boston Globe reported that at least 115 people had been taken to seven area hospitals for treatment.
