Toll in Baghdad mosque bomb rises to 30 dead

BAGHDAD (AFP) - A bombing at a Shiite mosque in north Baghdad killed at least 30 people and wounded 55 others on Wednesday evening, security officials said, updating an earlier toll.

The blast struck the Tamimi mosque, a Shiite Muslim place of worship, in the confessionally mixed neighbourhood of Waziriyah.
