PM Lee calls on Peruvian President Pedro Kuczynski on sidelines of Apec Summit

LIMA, PERU - Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong called on Peruvian President Pedro Kuczynski on Friday (Nov 19), as both leaders affirmed the warm friendship between their countries.

They discussed potential areas of cooperation between Singapore and Peru, regional and international developments, and the expected outcomes of this weekend's Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation's (Apec) Economic Leaders' Meeting.

Mr Kuczynski took office in July this year, and Mr Lee congratulated him on his election as president.

 
 

Mr Lee also thanked Peru for its warm hospitality during its Apec chairmanship, and invited President Kuczynski to visit Singapore soon.

Singapore and Peru have worked well together in international institutions such as the United Nations, Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation, and Apec.
