Gaza rocket hits southern Israel, causes no casualties: Police

JERUSALEM (AFP) - Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip fired a projectile at southern Israel on Thursday without causing casualties or damage, a police spokesman said.

"Earlier today, a rocket was fired out of Gaza Strip, it landed in the Negev region," Micky Rosenfeld said. "As of now, no injuries or damages were reported, and police units were searching the different areas."
