France suspends 'most' military cooperation with Russia

TALLINN (AFP) - France has suspended most of its military cooperation with Russia, including joint exercises and personnel exchanges, the French defence minister said Friday in Tallinn.

Paris has suspended "the majority of its military cooperation with Russia" in the wake of Moscow's takeover of Crimea, French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said in the Estonian capital before heading to fellow Nato members Lithuania and Poland later in the day.
