LONDON - A woman who posed naked for a 14-year-old boy after having sex with him in a bathroom has been cleared of five charges of engaging in sexual activity with a child.

Amanda Lockhart, 46, admitted having sex with the boy, but said that he had shown her a passport suggesting he was 17.

She also claimed that he was the one who initiated the romp, after which he tried to blackmail her for £500 (S$1,056) by threatening to show the naked photos he took to others.

The teenager claimed Lockhart, who has a son older than the boy, forced him to have sex with her on three different occasions, Daily Mirror reported on Thursday (Dec 17).

He said that the 1.5m- tall Lockhart might "beat him up" if he did not.

The boy claimed Lockhart made him touch her legs while they were alone together in a car in December 2013.

The boy told the court: "I was scared of her. I didn't know what she was going to do to me."

He also said Lockhart molested him on Jan 20, 2014. He said that Lockhart had cornered him on Jan 22 when he was alone in a bedroom and gave him oral sex.

However, Lockhart told the court that she was in a kitchen the next day (Jan 23) when he came in and started kissing her.

When she told him to stop and that he was "just a boy", he went upstairs and got his passport. "The date of birth looked like June 1996. I thought he was 17," she told the jury.

Lockhart claimed the boy grabbed her and said "please, please come to the bathroom" and led her upstairs. They were naked in the bathroom when he took three pictures of her. They had sex after that.

She also denied threatening him. "I was always really nice to him", she added.

The boy later sent the naked pictures to his cousin, who then reported Lockhart to the police.

The jury of eight men and four women rejected the boy's version of events, after nearly six hours of deliberation.

Lockhart was said to have left the dock in tears and sobbed "thank you" after she was acquitted of all charges.
