Xi to meet Putin in Russia

Chinese President Xi Jinping is visiting Russia today for talks with his counterpart Vladimir Putin.

During the two-day visit, the two countries will sign a number of documents on cooperation in areas such as trade, economy, investment, connectivity, media and education, the Xinhua news agency reported.


Launch of book on S R Nathan

The S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies is launching a book on Singapore's sixth president, the late Mr S R Nathan, today. The book, titled Remembering S R Nathan: A Mentor For All Seasons, looks at his various contributions to Singapore, including his civil service career and his commitment to social service.


Annual S'pore-China business forum

The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry is holding the Singapore-China Business Forum 2017 today. Organised annually by the chamber, this year's forum will examine how Singapore's businesses can leverage on China's One Belt, One Road initiative to engage and partner Chinese businesses to explore market opportunities in the region.
