MOSCOW (AFP) - Russia on Saturday (Sept 17) said the United States is not holding up its part of the deal on Syria, and will bear the responsibility for any breakdown of the fragile ceasefire.

"If the American side does not take the necessary measures to carry out its obligations... all responsibility for a breakdown of the ceasefire will be on the United States," said senior army general Viktor Poznikhir in a televised briefing.
