Archaeologists at work during excavations at expressway building S-17 Lublin - Warsaw in Zerdz, eastern Poland, yesterday. Scientists have discovered a burial place of what they believe were participants in the Battle of Zyrzyn that took place in 1863. Archaeologists assume that about 80 people, probably Russian soldiers, were buried in a mass grave.
