Ukraine claim 700 Russian troops cross border to help rebels

KIEV (AFP) - Ukraine's military claimed that some 700 Russian troops crossed into the country on Monday to aid rebels fighting for control of the country's east.

"This morning, two groups of armed forces from the Russian Federation crossed the border" into rebel-held territory, military spokesman Andriy Lysenko told AFP.
