BERLIN (AFP) - Swiss artist Milo Moire on Friday threw off her clothes in front of Cologne's cathedral in a protest against a rash of sexual assaults blamed on migrants.

Standing nude in the freezing cold, Moire carried a German-language sign reading: "Respect us! We are no fair game even when we are naked!!!"

Cologne police said they had recorded 121 complaints of assault ranging from groping to two alleged rapes on New Year's Eve, with victims claiming that they were perpetrated by men of "Arab and North African" appearance.

Moire is no stranger to controversial displays of nudity, and was arrested in July by French police after she disrobed and took selfies at the Trocadero in Paris.
