Paris attacks: French entertainment industry demands $75m in govt aid

PARIS (AFP) - France's live entertainment industry, which has been badly hit the Paris terror attacks, demanded at least 50 million euros (S$75.4 million) in state aid on Tuesday (Nov 24) to help it overcome the crisis.

"The shockwave (that has hit the sector) needs a medium-term plan," industry group Prodiss said in a statement, "and to minimise the impact we estimate that 50 million euros will be needed."
