Egypt Muslim Brotherhood spurns cabinet offer

CAIRO (AFP) - The Muslim Brotherhood movement of Egypt's ousted president Mohamed Mursi will spurn an offer to join a new interim government, a spokesman for the Islamist group said on Wednesday.

"We do not deal with putchists. We reject all that comes from this coup," said Tareq al-Mursi, amid reports the movement is to be offered positions in the transitional cabinet.
