NICOSIA (REUTERS) - Banks in Cyprus will reopen at mid-day (1000 GMT, 6pm Singapore time) on Thursday, a spokesman for the island's central bank said, 10 days after they closed their doors to avert a run on deposits.
The spokesman said banks would open their doors between mid-day and 6pm (midnight Singapore time).
The Cypriot authorities were expected later on Wednesday to detail the capital controls they plan to impose to prevent a flight of funds.
