A Squirrel monkey, the Saimiri Sciureus, is seen here enjoying a star-shaped piece of watermelon at an enclosure in Cali Zoo, Colombia, on Monday. As the animals are suffering from a heatwave in the region, they very much fancy having juicy fresh fruit to quench their thirst. The zoo, in the recent days, has also received other treats or Christmas presents, including vegetables, ice cream, honey and relaxing essences, for its "permanent residents".
