(REUTERS) - An earthquake measuring 6.0 magnitude struck off north-west Colombia on Tuesday (Sept 13), the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.

The USGS said the quake was centred 129km north north-west of Medellin. It was 72km deep.
