Calls for justice at funeral of man killed by New York police

Mourners heard a rallying cry for justice Saturday at the New York funeral of an unarmed black man shot dead by police amid a wave of nationwide protests against similar killings.

Akai Gurley, 28, a father of a young daughter, was shot dead when a police officer opened fire in a dimly lit staircase at a Brooklyn apartment building as he walked with his girlfriend late on Nov 20.

Friends and relatives filed past Gurley's open casket to pay their respects at the Brown Memorial Baptist Church, before the lid was closed and a huge spray of red and white flowers placed on top of the grey coffin.

Mothers in breastfeeding protest at top London hotel

A group of mothers staged a group breastfeed outside one of London's top hotels Saturday after a woman nursing her baby there was told to cover up.

Her case has prompted a debate over the rights and wrongs of breastfeeding in public, with Prime Minister David Cameron supporting women's rights to do so.

Ronaldo passes Telmo Zarra, whose record as La Liga's all-time top goalscorer was recently usurped by Lionel Messi, and Madrid legend Alfredo di Stefano who both scored 22 hat-tricks to reach his double century of La Liga goals in just 179 games.

Carlo Ancelotti's men have now matched the winning run record set by Frank Rijkaard's Barcelona side in the 2005/06 season, and have the chance to go one better at home to Ludogorets in the Champions League on Tuesday.
