Multimedia: Aerial Ballet

Watch as fighter jets, a bomber, a propeller aircraft, cargo and trainer planes glide, spin, tumble, climb and dive across the Changi skies for the Singapore Airshow 2012.

The bi-annual show, held for the third time, began in 2008. It takes place from Feb 14-19 at the Changi Exhibition Centre. The first four days are for trade visitors, and it will be open to the public this weekend (Feb 18-19).

Sixty-five aircraft are displayed in a 100,000 sq m outdoor area, including military planes, passenger airliners and luxury business jets.

The air show is the world's third-largest, behind Paris' Le Bourget and Britain's Farnborough. About 100,000 visitors are expected in total this weekend.

Through the Lens brings you the aerial dance of the Republic of Singapore Air Force's F-15SG and F-16C, Royal Malaysian Air Force's Smokey Bandits, Royal Australian Air Force's Roulettes, and Australian pilot Tony Blair in his single-propeller Rebel 300.
