WP's Lee Li Lian: I will stand up for your rights

Worker's Party's candidate Lee Lian urged voters to send the Worker's Party to Parliament once again.

"I will serve you wholeheartedly...and constantly stand up for your rights," said the 34-year-old sales trainer who addressed the crowd at the nomination centre at North Vista Secondary in both English and Mandarin.

In the last general election, Ms Lee received 41 per cent of the votes, compared with PAP's Michael Palmer, who scored 54.5 per cent.

There are some 32,000 voters in Punggol East SMC and Polling Day has been set for Jan 26.
